Apart from orchestral training, MPYO pianists will receive coaching in chamber music for piano duo, trio, quartet and quintet as well as works for multiple pianos and percussion. They will also be trained to play on a variety of keyboard instruments including celeste, harpsichord and synthesizer. The programme aims to provide pianists with comprehensive training in all aspects of ensemble playing and practices as well as to promote interaction with other musicians of their own age and ability.
