The MPYO continuously seeks to promote and showcase our finest aspects of the orchestra and the vitality, talent of our young musicians through various concerts and tours. MPYO aims to provide its members a substantial musical and cultural opportunity by immersing them in memorable national and regional tours. Members can experience significant growth in a setting outside of their usual environment. They will have the chance to perform in prestigious venue for large audiences and have musical exchanges with other groups. As future cultural ambassadors for Malaysia, they will be given the opportunity to set national benchmarks and understand international standards in music performances.

The eagerly-awaited MPYO’s Gala Concerts took place on 25 & 26 August 2007 and was held in Malaysia’s premier concert hall, Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS. This was followed by a National tour in December 2007 which took place in major cities around the country including Ipoh, Penang, Johor Bahru, Kuantan, and Kuala Lumpur.
