The Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (MPYO) offers a broad range of music-related programmes for its members. These aim to build upon the members' existing skills and contribute to their personal development to ensure that members of the MPYO will have experiences that stay with them for the rest of their life, whether they choose music as a career or follow another path.

Repertoire:
The MPYO programmes cover a range of repertoire that will provide its members a balanced and stimulating musical experience. The repertoire is to range from mainstream symphonic work to music of different genres and styles.

MPYO is also dedicated to commissioning new works by Malaysian composers and will support composers by programming their works regularly.
